My Morning Bike Ride Became a Declaration of Discipline, Leadership, and Purpose
On June 3rd, I kicked off the morning with a 10.3-mile bike ride, honoring World Bicycle Day as part of my ongoing commitment to health, wellness, and purpose-driven living. The ride, completed in 56 minutes and 21 seconds at an average pace of 11 mph, marked not just my longest ride yet but also Day 16 of a continuous workout streak that has reshaped how I think about performance, personally and professionally.
Why does this matter?
Wellness isn’t optional for entrepreneurs, CEOs, creatives, and community leaders. It’s foundational. Discipline in health reinforces discipline in business. Consistency in movement strengthens consistency in mindset. Honoring days like World Bicycle Day isn’t just about fitness; it’s about aligning with global initiatives that support sustainability, mobility, and collective responsibility.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) isn’t limited to donations or sponsorships. It’s also about how leaders show up. When prioritizing health, we signal to our teams, audiences, and communities that well-being is a core value. That value becomes part of our brand DNA.
This ride was more than just 10 miles on two wheels.
It was a moving statement that wellness and work are not separate paths. They’re a single, powerful journey toward sustainable impact. So, here’s to the miles behind me and the mission ahead.
